Earl Boykins Traded to Bucks, Blake Fitting In Well As A Nugget

The trade has been a done deal for a while now, but Earl Boykins is now a Buck. He had been playing very well with Iverson before the trade, but Denver was able to save money by trading him. Also, the trio of Iverson, Melo, and JR Smith would have cut Boykins ball handling time down considerably. I think it was a good move for the Bucks to get a special player like Boykins. He’s an offensive catalyst.
Steve Blake is not. But he has that pass first mentality that will complement Iverson and Melo’s need for the rock. Actually, its more like pass first quickly–Blake doesnt need to spin into the lane and dish it to a big man. And if he can bring up his shooting percentag to the 37.7 beyond the arc form he had before Milwalkee (it was hoving near 29% there), then we may be seeing a nice run by the Nuggets come playoff time.
