Kobe Takes Down Wade, Sort Of

Shaquille O’Neal was supposed to return to the court today in a much anticipated matchup against his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Instead, Alonzo Mourning played the most minutes he’s played this season and the Lakers prevailed in a thrilling OT victory.

It was a great game, if odd. Kobe only got to the foul line once, so naturally he and the Laker crew (Jack Nicholson included) were barking at the refs for the ‘no calls.

Brian Cook was lethal from the 3 point line, which was about as unnerving as the decent play by pigeon-toed Antoine Walker.  When asked why he shoots so many threes, he responded “Because there’s no four pointers.” Classic Antoine.
